A Current Parent Shares Her Perspective

Mrs. Erin Chase is a current Valor parent. Her two boys attend Valor San Antonio. In this short video, she shares six reasons why she loves Valor.

1. She sees Valor's vision lived out in every part of the school. Valor has woven its vision throughout every part of the students' day. It is palpable.

2. She feels warmth and kindness from everyone, especially the teachers who frequently attend student events like athletic competitions and dances. She feels this kindness is also for her as an individual. 

3. She emphasizes the intentional parent partnership Valor cultivates through parent-teacher conferences and email correspondence. The school and parents work together to educate the whole student. 

4. She values the character formation she observes through her boys’ days. The faculty encourages them to serve in small ways, such as helping to clean up trash together.

5. She loves the clear and open lines of communication. She says the faculty frequently share things they observe with parents. Email communication ensures parents know everything they need to know about what their students will be doing in the coming days and weeks.

6. She appreciates how students are actively engaged in their learning. She shares how her boys have had a joyful time at Valor. The faculty deeply care about her boys and their success in education.
