College Counseling
Preparing Scholars for the Path Ahead
Valor is pleased to offer a comprehensive College Counseling program to our high school students. Beginning in ninth grade, our curriculum and support services ensure that the process of finding the right college or university leaves our students well-prepared and confident about taking the next step in their journey. Valor’s program leads students through all aspects of college admission, including applications, resumes, essays, and college entrance exams. Moreover, Valor helps guide students to discover schools that are a good fit, navigate financial aid, and aspire to live lives of fullness and purpose. Our Valor South Austin College Counselor, Mrs. Charis Dishman, is available to assist as needed and can be contacted through email at cdishman@valoreducation.org or by phone at 512.646.4170, ext 317.

College Info Sessions
We are excited to host in-person meetings between our high school students and college admissions representatives throughout the school year. The schedule for these meetings will be shared with students and parents via parent email communications. Most colleges now offer virtual tours on their websites, which is another resource for students to learn about a variety of institutions.
