Dr. Randall Colton
Dr. Randall Colton is Director of Ethics at Mercy Health and Adjunct Professor of Philosophy at Holy Apostles College and Seminary. His main area of research is ethics, especially virtue ethics, the intellectual virtues, the moral philosophy of St. Thomas Aquinas and Kierkegaard, and, more recently, health care and clinical ethics. He is a member of the American Society of Bioethics and Humanities and a certified health care ethics consultant. Prior to his current service as a certified health care ethics consultant for a Catholic health ministry, he was a professor for about a decade and a half at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary in St. Louis and, before that, at Eastern University in Philadelphia.
