Cara Valle serves as the Lead Literature and Composition Teacher for the Classical Learning Resource Center (CLRC), where she teaches high school British Literature and American Literature. While teaching for CLRC, Cara has helped develop the sequence of Literature and Composition courses, drafted policy documents detailing CLRC’s approach to online learning, and offered additional courses in Poetry, Grammar, and Shakespeare. She also homeschools her four children. Prior to homeschooling and teaching for CLRC, Cara taught Poetry, Literature, and Composition at Glendale Preparatory Academy, where she served as a Mentor Teacher and helped develop the high school Poetry curriculum. She received her B.A. in English from Hillsdale College and currently lives in Arlington, Virginia with her husband and their four children.
