Melissa Dodson is currently pursuing an ICF Certification to support her trauma-informed coaching and educating and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Colorado Christian University to become a Licensed Professional Counselor.  For the past 22 years, she has worked as an educator in a variety of classical platforms, teaching K-12 students, including her own six children whom she has homeschooled. She helped develop and operate three classical cooperative educational programs, synthesizing and developing curricula and sequencing courses for same. Along with her Socratic Teaching Certification, she specialized in Grammar, Literature, Composition, and Rhetoric. Prior to her work in education, she served as the CFO and Controller of The Jaffe Companies, a commercial retail development firm in Austin, TX. She received her B.A. in Business Economics from Wheaton College.
