SPIRIT DAY DRESS GUIDELINES

Only Valor Spirit Wear is permitted on Spirit Days. Students are encouraged to participate, but they can opt to wear their full uniform instead.

• Students may wear a school-issued spirit shirt such as ‘Class Of’ t-shirts, a Valor Games t-shirt, Fall Fest t-shirt, or any of the school-issued athletics t-shirts, with blue jeans or school uniform bottoms.

• T-shirts do not have to be tucked in on Spirit Day.

• Current athletes may also wear their athletic jersey or warm-up shirt (basketball jerseys need to be worn with an undershirt) with jeans or school uniform bottoms.

• Hair accessories must be in Valor colors or plaid.

• All students should follow the usual dress code for hair (no hats, or hair dye).

• Athletic shoes, casual shoes, or uniform shoes may be worn. No sandals.

• Socks should follow our dress code.

• All clothing, including jeans, should be modest, loose-fitting, in good repair (e.g., no holes, torn sleeves, fringe, etc), and free of images and messages other than Valor.

• Letterman jackets and the Valor crewneck sweatshirt may be worn inside and in classrooms on Spirit Day.

Your children have been working diligently to prepare for the winter concert and cannot wait to show you what they've been learning! As a reminder, the performance is mandatory and a part of their grade for the semester. 

Students will have rehearsals during school on the day of the performance. This year, our concert will have a 30 minute intermission.

On the day of the concert, we ask that:

4th and 5th grade students arrive by 5:00 PM with their parents and 6th and 7th grade siblings.
6th and 7th grade students without 4th and 5th grade siblings should arrive at 6:30 p.m., during intermission.

DRESS CODE

Students should be in full uniform.

• Boys: uniform top (polo), pants (no shorts) and uniform shoes.

• Girls: uniform top (polo), skirt or pants (no shorts) and uniform shoes.

• Guests: Dressy casual to honor our students performing at the concert.

Join us on Wednesday, December 4th in the VSA Cafeteria to hear the full offering of Spring sports for the 24-25 School Year. You will get a chance to meet coaches, receive practice/game schedules, and so much more!

Retakes for Individual School Photos will be held on November 14th for Upper School (Foremost Campus).  Please fill out this form for a retake request.  If your student was absent on Individual School Photo Day, or if they are new to the campus, they will automatically have their photo taken (no form required).
