Measure of Academic Progress (MAP) Testing

MAP is a web-based testing application that gauges students’ progress in key subjects. Students in grades 3-8 are tested in three administrations:

  • Fall: gathers baseline

  • Winter: measures progress

  • Spring: measures the students’ growth to that point

The goal is to measure students’ growth in tested subjects as they progress through the year. Our first administration is coming up next week and will take place in the cafeteria. As such, we will not be able to welcome visitors to lunch on these days. (Students who normally eat lunch in the cafeteria will eat lunch in their classrooms.)
