Improv Performance
Prepare for an afternoon of joy at VNA’s improv show, where our skilled students will blend sharp intellect with clean, spontaneous humor. The performance is recommended for 3rd grade and above! Join us for a delightful performance rooted in wit and wisdom.

A Night at the Opera

Spirit Day!
It’s our final Spirit Day of the school year! Students may dress according to the guidelines below. Students who opt out of wearing spirit gear must wear the uniform.

5th Grade Promotion Ceremony
On this evening, we celebrate our 5th-grade students’ graduation from Lower School to Upper School. More information will be sent to guardians of 5th-grade students.

Parents' Dinner & Social
We are delighted to announce our Spring Parents Dinner and Social which will take place on March 28 at 6:30 PM at Brushy Creek Community Center. Our speaker will be Dr. Anna B. Moreland, who will be presenting The Young Adult Playbook, a practical guide for young people to encounter and pursue their true desires.
The purpose of the Parent Dinner and Social is twofold:
To provide you with an opportunity to socialize with other Valor North Austin parents over dinner and drinks (BYOB).
To listen to and learn from a dynamic speaker on topics related to parenting and education more broadly.

Grove City College Campus Visit
Grove City College will visit the VNA campus on Thursday, Feb. 27. High School students are encouraged to attend. See below for more details.

About: Grove City is located in Pennsylvania and is known for its classical Christian curriculum. They have a strong Engineering program and a popular Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. They are also strong in humanities. Tuition at Grove City College stands at about half of the national average for private institutions of their caliber. If you are considering Hillsdale as a college option, you should definitely check out Grove City.

Class Pictures & School Picture Re-Take Day
EK Simmons Photography will return to take class pictures for the yearbook as well as re-takes of individual photos. This includes photos of students who were absent for Fall picture day, students who would like a different picture taken, and new students who were not enrolled in October. High School Winter Swing Formal
High School students are invited to join the Winter Swing Formal on Saturday, February 22, 2025. Details will follow and will be shared in parent communications.


Classic Learning Test (11th Grade)
The Classic Learning Test (CLT) exists to reconnect knowledge and virtue by providing meaningful assessments and connections to seekers of truth, goodness, and beauty. Accepted at hundreds of colleges across the US, the CLT is an alternative to the SAT® and ACT® for 11th and 12th graders.

Inclement Weather MAKE-UP Day - Normal Schedule
Monday, February 17th was originally scheduled as a student/staff/faculty holiday. However, due to the inclement weather on Tuesday, January 21, we will have classes on a normal schedule on Monday, February 17th to make up for that missed day of classes.

8th Grade Field Trip
The A full human life requires us to invest in all avenues of the human experience. Music is a beautiful expression of the auditory nature of humanity. We desire at times to partake in having our students sing and perform musical numbers. At other times we desire to place our students in a position to receive this gift of music. We are fortunate to have this opportunity through a performance in February.
