8th Grade Field Trip

The A full human life requires us to invest in all avenues of the human experience. Music is a beautiful expression of the auditory nature of humanity. We desire at times to partake in having our students sing and perform musical numbers. At other times we desire to place our students in a position to receive this gift of music. We are fortunate to have this opportunity through a performance in February.

Details will be shared with parents in email communications.

Spinal Screenings

Valor North Austin has scheduled spinal screenings for January 27-28, 2025. Boys in Grade 8 will be screened as well as Girls in Grades 5 and 7. State law requires that schools screen students for abnormal spinal curvature in accordance with the following schedule.

During their time at Valor:

  • Girls will be screened two times: In Grade 5 and Grade 7

  • Boys will be screened one time: In Grade 8

This screening is not a medical exam. Your child still needs to see a doctor for annual, well-child checkups. If you do not wish to have your child screened for any reason, please email Nurse Laws at nurse.northaustin@valoreducation.org
