STAAR Testing Window
All public school students in the state of Texas are required to take the STAAR test annually to assess their progress and learning. The window for completing the STAAR tests begins on April 7 and concludes on May 1. Specific schedules of STAAR testing will be shared with families via email communications.
High School Shadow Day
We will be hosting prospective high school students for the upcoming school year on Monday, April 27. Our Student Life Team will help our student visitors navigate through class schedules, lunches, and learning more about Valor along with our faculty and staff.
Senior Night at the Opera

9th Grade Human Encounter

Stop the Bleed Safety Training
Students in grades 9-12 may sign up to attend a free training after school to learn first aid and safety techniques in the event of an emergency. This training is optional but is offered as part of our ongoing efforts to provide health services training to students.

There will be no classes on Monday, May 25 in honor of Memorial Day. Normal class schedules resume for Lower School students on Tuesday, May 26. Upper School students return on Tuesday, May 26, but have a modified schedule for Final Exams. Enjoy the long weekend!

11th Grade Wilderness Expedition
Our 11th grade students will embark on a retreat like no other as they fly to Utah, then camp, backpack, climb, and explore. Valor faculty, along with COR guides, will guide them in daily reflections on virtue and wisdom and all will “aspire to be fully alive” as stated in The Valor Way.
