5th & 8th Grade Promotion
We are excited to announce an update to our 5th and 8th Grade Promotions! This year, we will be combining both celebrations into one special event on May 27th at 6:00 PM at Northway Bible Church. Join us as we honor our students and their achievements together in a memorable ceremony. We look forward to celebrating with you!

VALOR LEANDER SPIRIT DAY DRESS CODE
Students may wear either:
Valor Griffins Spirit Shirt.
Valor Kindergarten shirts.
Valor athletes are asked to wear their athletics uniform shirts. Cross-
country/track and basketball jerseys must be worn with an undershirt.
Plain vermillion (red), gold, or white T-shirt (no pockets, logos, or graphics)
"Spirit socks" are encouraged! These are colorful socks (without pop-
culture references or images, other words, or phrases) strongly
encouraged to be in Vermillion and Gold.
All students should wear normal uniform bottoms (skirts, shorts, or pants) and normal uniform shoes.
Clothing should be modest, loose-fitting, in good repair (e.g., no holes, torn sleeves, etc.), and free of images and messages other than Valor.
Hair accessories for girls should follow the normal uniform guidelines.
The dress guidelines are intended to encourage the day's focus on spirit. Thank you for helping us make it a memorable day!

Fourth Grade Curricular Celebration
The 4th Graders will enter Narnia and experience scenes from The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Coffee and Conversation With Headmaster Ochoa
Current Parents, join Headmaster Ochoa for coffee and conversation! After drop off, head to the Valor Leander front office for this brief hour of Q&A.

Winter Concert
Valor Leander 2024 Winter Concert (Grades 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 will be performing)
When: Thursday, December 5th at 6:00 p.m. (Students arrive at 5:30 p.m.)
Where: North Way Bible Church
Dress Code: Students should be in full uniform.
Boys: uniform top, pants (no shorts) and uniform shoes
Girls: uniform top, skirt or pants (no shorts) and uniform shoes
Guests: Dressy casual to honor our scholars performing at the concert.
The call time for students who are performing is 5:30. Please plan to arrive promptly so your child doesn’t miss the opportunity to warm up before singing – just as we warm up before playing a sport, it’s necessary to warm up before singing. Thank you for your attention to this.


Second Grade Curricular Celebration
Greek Mythology Live Wax Museum! Scholars will be assigned a god or goddess by their teacher! This will be a fun event to celebrate the Greek Mythology Curriculum. More information will be sent from your student’s teacher.
