High School Dance - Harvest Hoedown (9th Graders)

High School Dance - Harvest Hoedown (9th Graders)

Valor Leander will have its first-ever high school dance in partnership with Valor North Austin. With a "Harvest Hoedown" theme, the dance will feature live music, two-stepping, and line dancing — with students donning Western apparel for the occasion. Every student who attends receives a dance card, which provides an intentional and joyful evening dancing with many partners.

Over the next couple of weeks, we'll teach students how to two-step and line dance during P.E. and Pelion, so all students will be well-prepared for this spirited event.

Students who would like to attend will register on Arbiter, paying for a ticket to help cover the cost of the live band and food for the evening. (Please reach out with any financial concerns — we want all students to attend our dances regardless of finances.)

Registration link: students.arbitersports.com/programs/vl-field-trips-2024-2025

Deadline: Students must be registered by Friday, October 25th.

Dress code: (Please review with your child before the dance.)Fall Hoe Down Dress Code.

Parents can drop students off at Valor North Austin (14200 N I-35, Austin, TX), where the dance will be held from 7:30 to 10:00 p.m. Valor Leander chaperones will be in attendance at the dance in addition to faculty from Valor North Austin.
